Under Scott Ellis' tight and enthralling direction and with three perfectly cast actors who seem to be having a ball at the Theatre, "Art" frequently erupts in laughter but still has plenty to say about friendship, power dynamics and how we get on each others' nerves.

Yasmina Reza’s Art returned to Broadway last night starring Neil Patrick Harris, Bobby Cannavale, and James Corden, and it is a tight, acidic joyride through ego and insecurity, wickedly funny.

Throughout, all three actors deliver the goods with a perfect pacing and interactions that make this a thoroughly engaging production of a whip-smart play that easily makes Art a delightful and thought-provoking objet d'art for our time.

This very fun revival at least makes the case that forgettability can be an asset and “Art’ enjoyed over and over again.
