“Beneath the Britney Spears, camping minutiae, nervous jokes, and awkward romantic maneuvering is a deeply big-hearted meditation on connection.”

“All three actors give solid performances, but perhaps because Jeffords and Oleynik portray such loud characters, Robinson’s understated work as Zed stands out.”

“Lean-To has wonderful scenes and exchanges but at certain points, the characters tend to ramble on in a way that might feel natural outside of a theater but comes across as rather talky onstage. It is then up to director Jesse Jou and the cast to keep the audience engaged, and fortunately for us, they do this extremely well.”

“While the setting is rendered beautifully, the drama flops due to a script full of extended silences, platitudinous conversation, and ill-conceived character behavior.”
